“Blu Steel Tattoo Institute is committed to providing a thorough curriculum of information to its students so they can successfully pass Oregon state exams and obtain their Body Arts Practitioner license. Conveniently located in downtown Medford Oregon and led by “Painless” Jen McLellan an industry veteran with over 30 yrs experience. Our program is designed to train artists with all the skills they need to succeed as well as education on the importance and application of safety and sanitation. Our focus on hands-on learning and small classes ensure that enough attention is provided to every student.

Our school has access to a clean room so students will learn all facets of sanitization including using disposable products and sterilizing tubes and grips. We provide training on coils and rotaries going over how to properly use the machines, how to tune them and how they function. Blu Steel Tattoo Institute course of study includes 360 hours of training including no less than 210 hours of theory and 150 hours of practical, and 50 completed procedures.

BSTI operates Monday through Thursday from 10am to 4pm. We observe all federal and state holidays.
